Inter-Club Rules and Code of Conduct

Members and their Guests are required to abide by these Rules and Code of Conduct, as amended from time to time, and by their presence at Inter Club events are deemed to have accepted them.

 
1. DEFINITIONS
“Club” means a private members’ club that is a constituent of Inter Club
“Committee” means the committee of Inter Club as appointed by the Clubs from time-to-time
“Inter Club” means the Younger Members’ Inter Club Group
“Member” means an individual member of Inter Club
“Guest” means a guest of the Member who is attending an Inter Club event

2. INTER CLUB
2.1  Inter Club is an association of the younger members from a variety of private members’ clubs across London.
2.2  Inter Club exists for the benefit of its constituent Clubs and their younger members.

3. RULES AND CODE OF CONDUCT
3.1  All Members bind themselves to abide by the following Rules and Code of Conduct. At all Inter Club events a Member will, and will ensure their Guests will:
(a)  act with respect and tolerance to all other persons and property;
(b)  behave responsibly in a manner which will not injure the reputation of Inter Club, Clubs, or any persons present;
(c)  comply with the rules and any specific instructions of the Club hosting the event; and
(d)  comply with the laws of England and Wales.

4. BREACH OF INTER CLUB RULES AND CODE OF CONDUCT
4.1  Breach, or reasonably suspected breach, of the Inter Club Rules and Code of Conduct, shall result in the Committee in its sole discretion:
(a)  notifying the Member’s Club and providing detail of any breach;
(b)  requesting appropriate action be taken by the Member’s Club; and
(c)  excluding or suspending the Member from Inter Club for any period it considers appropriate.

5.  GUESTS
Members shall be held responsible for their Guest’s behaviour and be subject to any sanction as if the Member had committed the act or omission themselves.
